I use the Garmin 450T too and am quite happy with it. I haven’t used much else.

I have the Dakota and like it a lot, but I am finding that I carry it less and less these days. Thanks fr sharing those links Tim. I will certainly check them out.

Tim, I’ve been using Trimble Outdoors. On most of our trail reports this year, there is a trail map that links out to the hike on Trimble with description, tracks, waypoints, and the ability to download gpx files and more. I did that on the hike to Charleston Peak last year. The highest peak in southern NV. Not easy to do it again!
